Baby, Its (Freakin') Cold Outside

I cannot wait to come home!!! I need to get through finals, its killing me. I've been listening to Josh Groban's Noel Christmas album, which is my favorite Christmas music of all time :) The Little Drummer Boy is my favorite Christmas song ever I think.

IT IS SO COLD HERE!! I literally could not get out of bed the other day because it was too cold, so I bought a heater from the store which has been working quite nicely. Our heater in our room is too dusty and old so we don't even try to use it. But seriously, I don't know what I would do if I was on the East Coast. It was just as cold here as it was in New York the other day though... and I was wearing two pairs of pants the other day lol, and Amanda thinks I should seriously reconsider going anywhere in the UK to study abroad, haha, but i'm still going!! No matter how cold it is! :)

Also, the fire alarm went off the second I stepped out of the shower, two times!! And it only went off in our room, and I wasn't smoking in the shower despite what everyone says! But two times?? It was terrible, I threw on some pants and a tshirt before I ran out, but I was dripping wet, and freezing. It turns out we have a faulty fire alarm and their trying to fix it... great.

And finally, finals=sadness. I really want them to be over and I've been studying/catching up sooo much! It sucks because I have two finals on one day which is 6 hours of testing... but not as bad as Amanda who has three on one day... which is way worse..

Anyways, I should probably go back to studying, but I can't wait for Christmas break! Its going to be so fun! We have so many things to do we're definitely going to need a month, lol.

Christmas time is here!

SO I just spent about 20 minutes purchasing Christmas music, such as:

Carol of the Bells, White Christmas, Baby it's Cold Outside, The First Noël, and Let it Snow....Needless to say I have not accomplished what really needs to get done...like studying for my upcoming finals

I am just too excited for our many adventures that are to come over Christmas break...

I also deleted my facebook for the week, just to let you know haha

I have some other things to say but can't really remember, but since I don't have a facebook for the time being I will undoubtedly use this as a forum for my distraction, so I will post again today when I remember what I wanted to say haha

No Sleep Tonight

So, I just finished my French paper, it is 2:15am. I feel like not even sleeping because I'm going to have to wake up at 8:30 and get LOTS of coffee. Plus, its only a couple more hours until sunrise haha.

Just thought I would post that because its a magical hour of the night, and there are crazy people screaming at the frat next door, I feel like going up to their house, throwing the alcohol and yelling "GROUND!" lol. And I killed 2 spiders tonight!! ahhhhh! Why are they attacking us!? Invasion!!

Anyways, I'll talk to you in a few hours! Call me! :)

Dreamer

So, I had a dream last night, and I'm going to blog it before I forget, but its in pieces because I already forgot a lot of it, let me warn you it was pretty bizarre. You were in it though!! :)

Okay, so, I was going to get married (I have a lot of bad dreams about me escaping from bad marriages with weird guys... but I want to get married, so I don't know why that is) , and anyways, it turns out in my dream that he has another wife/girlfriend (I wasn't sure). So, right after the wedding, I realized this and got really mad at him because she was with us and she was mad because she didn't know he was getting married. And then, I looked at him, and I couldn't see who he looked like because it was blurry but all of a sudden I could see him clearly and he was not attractive at all, and I was kind of weirded out and was just like, "I'm sorry but you're not the right person for me and I really want to get married right now, but I'm going to wait for someone who is right" and I didn't marry him.

Then, all of a sudden I was in a big city with my family (like vegas) and you're family was there and we were all hanging out at the hotel together. Ashley came too later and we all got along really well and were talking and it was cool and we were all dressed really fancy and getting ready to go out. Then, when I was alone this guy texted me, who was cute to me in my dream, but I can't really remember his face. Anyways, he sent me these really intense texts like that he really liked meeting me and stuff and I don't remember what it said, but it wasn't in a creepy way it was kind of cute. But I don't remember meeting him in my dream. And then he wanted me to meet him at a "jazz bar" to listen to music and stuff, (I don't know what a jazz bar is, but in my dream I remember I thought that I should tell him I'm not 21 yet lol) and I was excited because it seemed cool, and I wanted you and Ashley to come. We went out on the street and our family was there and we all started running for some reason. And then later I met up with that guy but not at the "jazz bar" (lol what the heck.) I met him somewhere else and we talked and had a good time. And then it ended and I woke up. Anyways, it was really weird as you can see and I'm not sure that it means anything but I wanted to tell you about it anyways.

Safety Dance!

So I decided that from now on, I'm going to make the title of every post the name of a song haha. "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats= my favorite music video ever!! hahahaha

Can we please watch LOTR?? I haven't seen them in so long! I want to reread the books. I'm having withdrawals!! haha. Do you know what LOTR withdrawals look like?? weird, that's what.

you get the picture. and none of this actually happened except examples 2 and 4 haha. The others I've just thought of doing lol. Sometimes I'll complete example 5 (when I wake up at 11 haha)

So I hope that picture of possums eating your TA I drew made you feel better, it made me feel better and I don't have problems with any of TAs haha, possums just always make me laugh, so weird.

So, I realized, I had a latte at breakfast and a big coffee at 4pm with four packets of sugar in it, because I was like, coffee will make me stay awake right? It will help me so I can finish my homework. Oh, I was awake alright, but the homework part not so much. I spazzed out and did everything but my homework. I couldn't focus on anything and still can't so that's why I'm blogging lol. I did some French but I mostly went on facebook and watched Flight of the Conchords and listened to Demitri Martin lol.

What else happened today... hm.

Nothing too exciting. Just me on the verge of falling asleep all day. Oh, and there is a guy who is on a hunger strike across from my dorm and he and this girl beat a drum all day. I don't care what they do, and I'm not sure what they're protesting exactly, but if they continue to beat that drum next week while I'm studying for finals, so help me, I will go over there, shove my knee through the drum and throw sandwiches at them!! It's sooo annoying! Can't they protest quietly? What happened to silent protests?? Its a really obnoxious drum with a beat that sounds like water dripping into an empty plastic bucket and its extremely irritating. I guess its better than the budget cut protests though, that was at like 8 in the morning, and I would wake up to some crazy lady screaming into a megaphone cheesy protest slogans and singing "we are the titans" but with their own words lol.

Which reminds me of a funny story, I don't remember if I told you (and I probably did because I always tell stories multiple times as you well know) but at the beginning of the year, before I quit crew, there were budget cut protests and we saw the news people out there at 5 in the morning, which was our practice time, and they were like, "are you guys here for the protests?!" with cameras and stuff, and we were like, "um, no, we're lightweight crew, and we have practice now.." they looked very disappointed lol. Who protests at 5 in the morning? We should have told them we were the protesters, then I could have been on the news :) it would have gone something like:

"I've been here all night! And fought off thousands of crazy homeless people just to protest the budget cuts!! aaaaaahhhhh!!! (foam at the mouth)"

and then the news person would have been like, "what do you think we should do about the cuts?"

and I would say, "Not have them!! No money! No education! save us!! we're all going to die and the world is ending!! FREEEDOM!! FREEDOM!!" and ran screaming into krober fountain.

haha okay so the protesters aren't thaaat dramatic, but still it would have been funny. I have to say I did not participate in the protests. I don't think me missing class helps anything, unless I fail out because I didn't go to class, then I would never have to pay tuition! Its also fun to read their signs because they all say different stuff, and none of it makes sense :)

aaannnyyways, I guess I should go to sleep now, hopefully I'll have good dreams, I haven't remembered a dream in a while, I usually remember them a lot. If I remember my dream maybe I'll blog it :)

Here Comes the Sun

I'm glad its all over! And now, you can turn it in, take a deep breath, and delete it all from you're memory haha. I love college. A stress free Christmas break is exactly what we need. I have been getting very artsy because I'm stressed so instead of doing homework, I've been looking at my old stories and poems, and laughing at some of it and feeling sort of stupid... haha, and some of it that I wrote last year predicted parts of my life, which was weird, I'm like Abed from Community!! lol. But, I've been very irritated recently (because of reasons I will tell you on the phone because its a long story) and its fueled a lot of creative writing, which happened earlier this year because of reasons you know...(same reason if you can guess) and I'm still trying to write my first song, my guitar teacher gave me some good ideas of how to create a melody and get a good guitar chord progression, so I'll have to show you when you come over! And guess what I forgot to tell you!!! Alyssa taught me the Hannah Montana Hoedown Throwdown dance!!! ahahahahahaha, the campers next year are going to love me. We'll teach you over break, we couldn't stop laughing but I really wanted to learn it! Wow I'm such a nerd, or in the words of Noah, "stupid nerd" lol.

In closing, I basically have no motivation to do any of my homework, which is sitting in piles on my desk. I'm going to start with French because I can do the worksheets while listening to music so I feel like I'm not really studying haha, but that and astronomy are pretty much the only ones I can work on with music.

TURNS OUT that the rough draft was just to get our butts moving on the essay and we didnt even need to turn them in, but guess who stayed up till 2 AM writing it? me.

right now I'm in the library trying to work on it and actually make it a good workable draft, because lo and behold it is due friday.

I am quite upset about this due date, and when I went to class 'twas awkward because my pores exuded anger and frustration and dislike.

But, alas this is my last essay for this class and soon I will be done with it. For good. Can you hear the hallelujah chorus?

That sucks! Don't worry though, if its the rough draft I doubt they'll grade it too hard. That's so stupid of the T.A. though. I'm sure if you act really awkward in public, you'll meet a cute guy, lol, so really there's no downside haha.

I haven't done anything interesting yet except hit my alarm a couple times, then debated for like ten minutes if I should take a nap later, and then decided to just turn in my labs for astronomy and try to stay awake the rest of the day. I'll be getting coffee in an hour lol. Let me know how class goes, I'll talk to you later and I'll probably blog again later :)

last night...i asked my T.A. a question which the answer is imperative to me actually starting my essay...and his answer was "why don't you ask in class tomorrow so everyone can hear?"

yes I would love to, but oh wait...WE HAVE TO TURN IN A DRAFT TOMORROW

can you please explain to me how I am supposed to write a draft of an essay I don't understand? and you fully know that I don't understand it because I just told you

The walk to class will be interesting, as I freak myself out and calm myself down multiple times.

Hey cousin!

That was a good Thanksgiving break I have to say, and a Lord of the Rings marathon over Christmas break is a must! I already miss you! I'm sitting in my dorm, thinking I should probably go to sleep or at least finish my homework, but in the end, I decided to do neither, so I'm just listening to my twilight soundtracks and posting on the blog to avoid sleeping and school all together, lol.

What I did tonight:

Found a really cool cafe with good coffee and muffins, I did some homework with a friend and it was for astronomy, and we were talking about Jupiter, and this creepy guy is staring at us whole time! And then when we leave he says, "I thought you guys were talking about the bar called Jupiter" I explained it was for astronomy and he was like "I go there sometimes. I get pizza" and I just smiled and nodded and walked away haha. Too bad there isn't and In-N-Out close by ;)

So then, I came back and said hi to people who just got back from break, and I thought of how strange it is to be here now. I only came home one other time this semester, so being home for that long was nice, and being back here isn't bad, but its just strange. I can't imagine what it's going to feel like coming back from Christmas vacation, 4 weeks!

So I just spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Newport with you, Jessica, and wow I have definitely not laughed so hard in such a long time. I would love to recap all of the occurrences if you don't mind:

Thanksgiving first off, was so much fun, hanging with our crazy fam and "sexy legs" and the .... awesome... French movie list that we started, but I doubt I will see any of the others..if they prove to be like the first one we tried to watch haha

The soufflés we made were amazing, and I AM OBSESSED WITH YOUR DOG...lobster?...stitch

Even though we had an awesomee break, it made me realize hoe much we need to accomplish over Christmas break:
